The Jazz Scene Saturday 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Since the turn of the Century, David Basse has been the host of KPR’s Jazz Scene. This long running, award winning jazz show features new releases, classic jazz and information about area jazz concerts, festivals and performances in night clubs. Most Saturdays, David interviews artists that are visiting the area or are releasing new music. Guests have included Pat Metheny, Ron Carter, Marian McPartland, Ramsey Lewis and Chick Corea among many others. From time to time, the Jazz Scene with host live musical guests in KPR’s Studio C.
